Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Match My Hair website or submitting any information through our platform. By accessing matchmyhair.co or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website.
1. About Match My Hair
Match My Hair (“we”, “us” or “our”) is an Irish online discovery and matching platform that helps clients find hairdressers and hair stylists based on their hair type, goals, budget and location.
Important: Match My Hair is a discovery and matching platform only. We do not provide hair services ourselves. We do not employ, contract or represent any of the stylists listed or matched through our platform. Any hair service booked as a result of using Match My Hair is a private arrangement between the client and the stylist.
We are based in Ireland and these terms are governed by Irish law.
2. Who Can Use This Platform
Match My Hair is intended for:
• Clients aged 16 or over who are looking for a hair stylist in Ireland
• Professional hairstylists and hairdressers based in Ireland who wish to be listed on the platform
By using this website you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age. If you are under 16, please do not submit any personal information through our site.
3. Match My Hair Is a Discovery Platform Only
This is the most important section of these terms. Please read it carefully.
3.1 We Do Not Provide Hair Services
Match My Hair does not cut, colour, style or treat hair. We do not offer any professional hair services. All hair services are provided independently by the stylists listed on or matched through our platform.
3.2 We Are Not Responsible for Stylist Services
We are not responsible for:
• The quality, safety or outcome of any hair service provided by a stylist found through Match My Hair
• Any damage, loss, injury or dissatisfaction arising from a hair appointment booked as a result of using our platform
• Any dispute between a client and a stylist
• Any failure by a stylist to honour an appointment or deliver a service as agreed
• Any financial transaction between a client and a stylist
3.3 Stylists Are Independent Professionals
All stylists featured on Match My Hair are independent professionals or employees of independent salons. They are not agents, employees or representatives of Match My Hair. We do not supervise, monitor or control the services they provide.
3.4 Booking Is Your Responsibility
Any booking made through a stylist’s own system (such as booking links, Instagram or any other platform) is made directly between you and the stylist. Match My Hair is not a party to that booking. Any cancellations, refunds or disputes are between you and the stylist directly.
4. Stylist Listings
4.1 Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that stylist profiles on our platform are accurate and up to date. However we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all information provided by stylists, including their specialities, pricing, availability or location.
We recommend that you confirm all details directly with a stylist before booking an appointment.
4.2 We Do Not Endorse Any Stylist
The appearance of a stylist on Match My Hair does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee of the quality of their services. We list stylists in good faith based on the information they provide to us.
4.3 Removal of Listings
We reserve the right to remove any stylist from our platform at any time and for any reason, including if we receive credible complaints about their conduct or the quality of their services.
5. Client Waitlist & Stylist Applications
By submitting your details through our client waitlist or stylist application form you agree that:
• The information you provide is accurate and truthful
• You consent to Match My Hair contacting you using the details provided
• You can withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing MatchMyHair@outlook.com
Submission of a stylist application does not guarantee listing on the platform. We review all applications and reserve the right to accept or decline any application at our sole discretion.
6. User Conduct
When using Match My Hair you agree not to:
• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information
• Impersonate another person or business
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our platform
• Post or share any content that is offensive, defamatory or harmful
• Use our platform to spam or send unsolicited messages to stylists or other users
We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend access to any user who violates these terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on matchmyhair.co including the Match My Hair name, logo, design, text and images is owned by or licensed to Match My Hair. You may not copy, reproduce or use any of this content without our written permission.
Stylists who submit photos or content to their Match My Hair profile confirm that they have the right to use and share that content and grant Match My Hair a licence to display it on the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, Match My Hair shall not be liable for:
• Any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our platform
• Any loss or damage arising from a hair service provided by a stylist found through Match My Hair
• Any inaccuracy in stylist profile information
• Any technical issues, downtime or errors on our website
• Any loss of data
9. Third Party Links
Our website contains links to third party platforms including stylist booking systems, Instagram and other social media. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or terms of those third party sites. Visiting those sites is at your own risk.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time as our platform develops. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Match My Hair after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of significant changes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from your use of Match My Hair will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
